Silver Club Update, May 5, 2011

Good news!!!

1. Happy Mother’s Day! Have you thought about honoring Mom or Grandma with a piece of Bill of Rights Silver? We thought you’d like to see the 10th Amendment design which has been sent to the engraver. The 7th Amendment is being minted and was included in the large order that went in last week.

2. You are invited to the Weld County 9/12 group on 11 May 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Destiny Christian Center, 6250 W.10th Street Unit 4, Greeley CO. Get Map and Directions. Come help us brainstorm enlarging our private barter group. Perhaps the most important thing we can do right now is to build a private barter exchange based on value. Getting to know our friends and neighbors and what they offer and do is critical!!! Our county is mostly rural with a wealth of all kinds of food producers and it will be fun building an exchange system based on value. I will suggest that they might consider becoming the Weld County Constitutional Council or Assembly. Our 9th Amendment piece lists the 3 powers our forefathers/mothers left us: We the people do ordain and establish, We the people are the sovereigns and We the people can abolish any form of government!!!

3. We are in super unusual times. Silver has become very volatile – rising to nearly $50 (and over $50 on some markets), but in the last few days it has been dropping back – at least that is what ‘the paper’ figures show. One of the causes revealed by Moneynews.com today was a report that Soros Fund Management LLC ‘sold off’ a large amount of precious-metal assets. On the other hand there will be future upward pressures on silver as more and more people realize that fiat currency is a form of grand theft while depleting their savings. Another is the Silver Liberation Army (SLA) consisting of silver traders like Max Keiser who have initiated the Million Ounce March: SLA is born! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0RmgoCFCXw&feature=youtu.be So Jim checked the # of trades and there 907 trades for May 4th, 2011; 6,800 trades showing for June: 136, 796 trades in July. What do you suppose that means?

Keep in mind that Bill of Rights Silver is more valuable because it keeps our Bill of Rights memorialized in a silver piece that has numismatic potential. The state and national legislators to whom we’ve awarded a Bill of Rights Silver piece are really uplifted by it and tell us they will always carry it with them or keep them at the top of the pile of their precious metals. Check our website to see those who have been so honored.

4. Some people have approached us with questions about ‘paper silver’. We thought this video points up the dangers. This little baby is so funny!!! But he shows the dangers very well:

5. Our county assessor spoke at our SW Weld County GOP breakfast. Although I don’t believe in property taxes – because:
   a. We the people have no voice when ‘the state’ ‘equalizes’ property taxes.
b. It puts the government in first lien-holder position and we in essence become ‘renters’.

But – at present, until we the people can come up with a better solution, we must deal with them. Our county assessor is known across the state as the best in his field and he thankfully believes, as do the rest of our county officials, that we must keep taxing low. In fact – our county officials have lowered our mill levy over the years while other counties were increasing theirs. Yet – we are one of the only counties in Colorado that is not in debt. One of the sad facts he gave us was that in Greeley, Colorado – our county seat – 37% of home sales are repossessions – which badly skews home values for those attempting to sell their homes in an already challenging market. I’m sure this is happening across America and unless people take the time to go to such meetings, they do not know the facts!

6. As the unofficial education chair for our SW Weld County GOP, Janet Lee reminded people to learn the *real laws – to read their Colorado Constitution, Article 61 which states only gold and silver will be used in payment of debt. Janet Lee asked them if they knew the two things our forefathers warned us to be vigilant for – Do you? Then she read and handed out Article II, Sec. 1-3 of the Colorado Constitution which established that we the people are the ‘free sovereigns’ who have ‘natural’ rights. She pointed out that it states we have ‘natural’ rights – not ‘civil rights’ and warned people to be aware of how we are being ‘entrapped’ with words. *The U.S. Constitution defines money as ‘coin’ – not the fiat paper the Fed Reserve prints out of thin air. The 1792 coinage act made it a hanging offense if anyone was to ‘debase’ our forefather’s honest money system based on gold and silver coin. That is the real law! Why? – because any rules, statutes, ordinances, etc. are null and void at inception and are not law if they violate the constitutions, state or national! See 16 American Jurisprudence 2d, Sec. 177, late 2d, Sec. 256: “No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law, and no courts are bound to enforce it.” The Supreme Court upheld that an unconstitutional act is void “ab initio” i.e. the moment it is signed into “law.” In Norton v. Shelby Co.118 U.S. 425, 442, 6 S.Ct. 1121, 1125, 30 L.Ed. 178 (1886) it was held that: “An unconstitutional act is not a law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; it affords no protection, it creates no office; it is, in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed.” See also Ex parte Siebold, 100 U.S. 371, 376-77, 25 L.Ed. 717 (1879) “An unconstitutional law is void, and is as no law. An offense created by it is not a crime. A conviction under it is not merely erroneous, but is illegal and void, and cannot be a legal cause of imprisonment.”
